The Story behind our Branding
Our company name and logo were inspired by the historic Kalom well, located in the heart of Senegal in the village of Ndande, a 13th-century structure renowned for its size and cultural importance. The well, dug by the founder of the Djolof empire and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, symbolises a blend of technical expertise, provision of resources and the connection between past and present.
Chosen to reflect our geographical roots, the name 'Kalom' draws parallels between water and oil and gas wells, and reflects our company's commitment to working in the offshore industry in an effective, beneficial, safe and sustainable way, while honouring a rich heritage that combines tradition and modernity, technical expertise and cultural depth.
